The Human Eye

Continuing my series on the Sony f2.8 90mm macro lens, I experimented more with photographing the human eye. I believe there is an irony of sorts present in these pictures: an image of the human eye is being captured by a machine constructed strictly by human intuition, skill, and knowledge.

The low minimum focus distance of the lens allows sharp detail and high resolution of a relatively small object (the eye). Portraiture to come!
