Experimenting with Macro

Currently, I am playing around with the Sony 90mm f2.8 macro lens on a Sony A7r III. I am impressed by the crisp detail coming through the glass, but struggle with the narrow depth of field when shooting close (minimum focus distance of 0.28m) to the lens itself. I hope to try the lens for portraiture soon!
